All Around Roofing is a small, family-owned and locally operated roofing and exterior renovations company serving Kingston and the surrounding area. We believe in keeping quality trades work local and providing homeowners with honest communication, fair pricing and professional workmanship. When you hire All Around Roofing, you're dealing directly with the owner and the crew completing your project — not a large sales organization or a subcontractor you've never met. With over 18 years of experience in the roofing and exterior renovation industry, we understand that every property is different. We take the time to assess the existing conditions, explain your options and recommend solutions that make sense for your home and your budget. From roofing and siding to soffit, fascia, seamless eavestrough and custom exterior finishing, our goal is simple: do quality work, use quality materials and treat every customer's home as if it were our own.
OUR STORY
What started as a man eager to be the best at everything he did and determined to take on the world began at the bottom as a labourer for a well-established roofing company here in Kingston. Tim quickly discovered a passion for the roofing trade. He worked hard, learned everything he could and pushed himself to take on more responsibility. Before long, he progressed from labourer to installer and eventually became a foreman and team leader, building years of hands-on experience and a reputation within the local roofing industry.
After years of working in the trade and learning every side of the business, All Around Roofing was created.
In the beginning, All Around Roofing worked primarily as a subcontractor, taking on projects for some of the larger roofing companies and major builders in Kingston. We had the opportunity to work under many well-known names in the local industry and gained valuable experience seeing how different companies operated. Eventually, we expanded beyond subcontracting and began selling and completing our own projects directly for homeowners throughout Kingston and the surrounding area. But after years of working as a subcontractor and working alongside many different subcontractors we realized there was an opportunity to create something different. Something better.
We wanted to build a company that was owner-led, community-focused and personal. A company where homeowners could speak directly with the person responsible for their project. Where the owner wasn't sitting behind a desk while the work was passed down through layers of management and subcontractors. That's the foundation All Around Roofing was built on. We're a small, locally owned company that believes quality trades work should still feel personal. We work directly with our customers, work alongside our crew and take pride in the projects we put our name on.
Less like a corporation. More like a community.
And that's exactly what we intend to keep building.

Treat Every Homeowner Like a Neighbour
We believe in education first, always. Maybe we're the right company for your project, and maybe we're not. That's okay. Even if you decide to go in another direction, we still want you to make an informed decision and protect yourself.
Unfortunately, the trades have seen their share of fly-by-night companies and dishonest operators. In a difficult economy, it's also easy to be swayed by a price that seems unusually low or an offer that sounds too good to be true. That's why we believe in giving every homeowner the same advice we would give a neighbour or a friend: Do your research. Look at reviews, ask questions and when appropriate ask for references from previous customers.
Ask for proof of insurance. A reputable contractor should be able to provide proof of appropriate insurance coverage. Ask about WSIB. If the contractor has employees or other workers for whom WSIB coverage applies, ask for appropriate proof of coverage or clearance. Ask about business registration and HST. A legitimate business should be able to provide appropriate business information and, where applicable, HST registration details. Don't pay the entire project upfront. Understand the payment schedule before work begins and be cautious of requests for large or full payment before any work has been completed. Get the details in writing. Make sure you understand what work is included, what materials will be used, the expected scope of the project and how additional work or changes will be handled.
These are things we're willing and able to provide to our customers because we believe transparency should be part of the job. Whether you choose All Around Roofing or another contractor, our advice is the same: slow down, ask questions, do your research and make sure you know who you're hiring before you hand over your money. We're happy to answer those questions ourselves because protecting homeowners and educating our neighbours is more important to us than making a sale.
